Surgeons and Molecular Biology

Abstract
Molecular Biology has been developing rapidly and recent advances enables gene manupulation and gene therapy for human disease.
These advances in basic science will lead as a front runner in treating incurable diseases. In this regards, surgeons should follow the trends in medical science. For doing this surgeons meet the first problem in understanding the terminology
since
the
language is relatively new and created continuosly.
The best way to resolve those language problem is participating molecular biology workshop.
The next step for a surgeon to follow is to manage basic experiments by himself. However, ti is not easy to continue experiments by a surgeon because surgeon has to do a lot of clinical works. Surgeon can simply co-operate basic scientist or hire
graduate students, post-doctoral fellows or research workers. We can consider research staffs to handle those problems specific to surgeons.
Although, surgeons have many problems performing his own experiments, they have access to human tissues. Surgeons have to take advantage of handling surgical specimen.
In conclusion, by active participation of surgeons at basic science surgeons can accomplish not only their academic interest but also better treatment of difficult diseases.
